Managing your N.A.bld Production

Managing Your Production

The PRODUCTION tab is where you can see incoming production orders, enter updates on production, and print out or view cut tickets and tech packs. From here, you can view production based on what is In-Progress, Complete, and New (or yet to be accepted).

This is great for managing the status in real-time of your production projects and generating Work-In-Progress views.

How to indicate you have received materials in the BOM

Once you have accepted a PO, the brand will be prompted to start shipping you materials. Navigate to the Bill of Materials section within your PO to view the incoming materials and track their arrival.

  • Designers will ship you materials which you can see on your BILL OF MATERIALS for the purchase order.  Indicate when materials have arrived at your facility by clicking the X in the corresponding row.

  • Once all the materials have arrived, view the tech pack to get started!

How to add production updates

Production updates are CRUCIAL to a successful production run. They provide proactive communication between you and a brand, make sure production runs smoothly, and provides visibility into the process.

There are a number of production updates you can add including but not limited to:

  • General Note

  • Question

  • Alert / Issue

  • Materials In

  • Materials QA'd

  • Fabric Cut

  • Fabric Sewn

  • Assembly Begun

  • Sewing Complete

  • Product QA'd

  • Delivery Shipped

You do not have to add all of these update sand some of these updates may not be relevant to your process but we highly encourage you to add as many as are relevant.

This is a great way to add in-process images of production. Simply drop or upload images into the image field when you add an update.

Let's look at an example Production Update that you should enter when the materials have all arrived. Once you have received and QA'd all of the materials sent by the designer, navigate to the UPDATES tab and enter "Materials IN" and "Materials QA's" update. These go directly to the designer.

How to close out a successful production order

Once you have sent all the updates and production is complete, you can submit your final invoice for the remaining or full payment. Click here to learn about how to submit an invoice.
